These chairs were lined up in the front yard, as if waiting for someone to come, sit, and watch the passing ships.

One evening I spotted these shoes lined up on a shelf after the children had gone to bed.

Trail's End

While wandering through the vinyards of the Palatinate in Germany I came across these shoes sitting on a set of steps along side the fields. The steps led from the parking area to the path.  No one was in sight.  It makes you wonder if someone got home and then realized they were barefoot.
